Carole is always on the hunt for the best fitness and healthy food places in Barrie. Join her as she visits Barrie Tai Chi. Learn some of the basic movements and benefits of this art. After working up an appetite, pop on over to Ripe Juicery.

Episode 2

Carole visits Bounce Fit Blast, which uses Kangoo Jumps boots to get more height and bounce in their cardio workouts. For a healthy post-workout meal, Carole visits AvocoBar and makes herself a perfect salad.

Episode 3

Swing by Rock N Pole Fitness with Carole as she learns how to do a spin, putting her core and upper body to the test. Then head over to Nicholyn Farms as Carole gets into the fields and picks the vegetables she wants cooked into her delicious farm fresh meal.

Episode 4

Did you ever want to try stand up paddle boarding? Northern SUP shows Carole how, while working out biceps and triceps in their fitness class. After a long day on the water, relax at Lazy Tulip Café which offers healthy food, catering to a variety of food preferences while not forgetting about taste.

Episode 5

Step into the women’s only fitness kickboxing studio, Chic Boxing, as Carole learns some basic moves for a full body workout. Pop on over to the eclectic Unity Market Café that offers fair trade and organic food, some of which they grow themselves. But wait, they also sell handmade art and a recording studio?

Episode 6

Visit Vidya Yoga & Wellness which offers overnight retreats, massages, as well as yoga classes. Although it may look intimidating, yoga can be done by anyone regardless of how flexible or fit you think you may be. Carole learns some relaxing yoga stances and moves, followed by an organic gluten-free vegetarian meal at the wellness centre.
